This surfaced.
I don't think I've ever heard an engine idling that slowly. I mean, there are certainly other nice idle notes:
But none are quite as rock-crushingly... intimidating. The GT500 is intimidating also, but in an "I'm going to eat you" kind of way.
Then there are the exhaust noises we laugh at.

I officially desire this car. Badly.

Beautiful. Just beautiful. Wish I had 450K to spend on it.

As it happens...
The snow just keeps falling. And falling. And falling. Well, at least I can practice my overly fast snow driving skills on Sega Rally Revo. Alpine zones are awesome, especially when traversed at 70 MPH on roads meant for 20.
Not that it's realistic or anything.

SHOOT! Arghhh....
Stupid snow.
Now I'm just a WRX or Evo away from serious fun. Oh well, I don't have access to either of those cars.

I suppose that...
If I'm going to talk about cars, I may as well be telling you about what cars my family possesses. So, without further ado...
Beautiful, aren't they? There's also a Toyota Sienna, which has served us faithfully for many years, but it's presently rather dirty and I don't feel like taking a picture of it. Nice van, though.
And yes, this picture was taken on the Moon. Nobody's figured out how we built the roads yet, and frankly, neither have I!
EDIT: The car in the foreground is a 2008 Shelby GT making 319 crank HP and 310 lb. ft. of torque, routed to the ground through a 5-speed manual transmission with Hurst short-throw shift knob and limited-slip differential with 3.55 gears. The wheels are 18-inch diameters, with summer performance tires on them. Car sounds WONDERFUL, with an awesome amount of gear whine in gears 1-3, which transforms into a bass symphony from the higher RPM of third gear up to fifth. Ambient lighting with seven different colors lights up the cupholders and footwells for all four seats, and the front two seats are heated. Gauges can turn about 35 different colors depending on how the driver feels. Ours are set to white while the car idles, and blue at night and with the headlights on.
Car in background is a 1999 Mustang V6 convertible with somewhere around 190 crank horsepower and 210 lb. ft. of torque. Channeled to the ground through a 5-speed manual and 16-inch wheels. In the picture, the car has all-season tires on it, when it has the snow tires it sits lower. Boatload of fun to ride in with the top down, and also the only car I've ever driven.

Well, shoot.
So there I was, all ready to head out and *ahem* gather information (read: sit in cars and mess with shifters), and then the weather got all nasty and rainy and dark and... WET. Grr.
Well, none of you were really hoping to read about the seat comfort of an old used BMW 325xi, were you?

So, for my first topic of discussion...
I've decided to provide you all with a video of one of my Top 10 favorite cars...ever. And that's not something I will say very often.
Personally, I think this is one of the greatest exhaust noises... of all time. Too bad it's not legal for the street. Opinions welcome, please discuss in the comment box.

And so it begins!
Hello all! I am BBC (not the network). You may know me from the LEGO Message Boards. Well, this is where I will be talking about whatever I am thinking about at the moment, most notably cars.
Yes, I'm THAT BBC. The one that haunts the Car Debating Society topic in the Racers forum. I believe that that topic is simply too restrained, so here, I will be expanding upon my posts and best of all, they will be ILLUSTRATED! How's that for expanding upon the theme? Additionally, this blog will be 100% clean, so CR9 need not worry about his parent controls. Hehe.
So, dear reader, you may be thinking right now, "Well, that's great and all, but LEGO doesn't allow outside links! How are you going to advertise this fantastic blog of yours?". That's a great question. I'll make that one up as I go along.
So, that's BBC, signing off!
